Last week marked a season highlight for Aeziah as he raced at the British Grand Prix MotoGP™ at Silverstone. It was his second time competing at the prestigious event, and he had an incredible weekend with the team.

FP1 – With a strong bike setup, Aeziah entered FP1 feeling confident. He immediately matched the lap times he set during last year’s Silverstone round, finishing the session in P14.

FP2 – After analyzing the data from FP1, Aeziah and his crew chief identified areas for improvement. He focused on these during FP2, which allowed him to put together quicker and more consistent laps, ultimately finishing in P17.

Overall, Aeziah was pleased with how free practice went. He identified several more areas for development and planned to focus on these in qualifying. However, track conditions changed significantly with overnight rain, and he faced full wet conditions as the first class out on both Saturday and Sunday.

Races 1 and 2 were streamed live on TNT Sport, Discovery+, and the R&G British Talent Cup’s YouTube channel.

Starting from P17, his best qualifying position in the class, Aeziah made up several positions in the opening laps of Race 1. His confidence grew as the race progressed, with strong battles and close but clean racing throughout. On the final lap, he made a decisive move, passing two riders through Maggots and Becketts to cross the line in P16, his best race result to date and edging ever closer to the points.
